Our story
Twenty years of fencing taught us what does not last.
We are a family owned and operated business based at Black Hill Station on the upper Rakaia River in Mid Canterbury. With over twenty years of hands-on experience fencing our own property, we understand first-hand the challenges farmers face when it comes to reliable, cost-effective fencing.
Over the years we noticed that many essential products were either unavailable in New Zealand or inconsistent in quality, all while costs kept rising. To fix it, we set up our own company, dedicated to sourcing and producing materials that meet the real demands of New Zealand farming conditions.
Today we stock a wide range of fencing products designed with durability and practicality in mind: Y-posts and T-irons with hole patterns suited to netting and plain wires, barred sheep yard gates in multiple sizes, and heavy-duty farm gates. Many of these were once only available by special order. We now carry them in stock for farmers across the country.
Because the business began by sourcing materials for our own property, quality has always been at the heart of what we do. Every product is chosen with the same standards we demand for our own fencing, so New Zealand farmers get strong, dependable gear that stands the test of time.
