Why we make this gear
We could not buy fencing
tough enough. So we made it.
We are a family business based at Black Hill Station on the upper Rakaia, with more than twenty years fencing our own high country. Too many of the products we needed were either not available in New Zealand or simply were not strong enough, while the prices kept climbing.
So we started making and sourcing our own. Every gate, post and panel we sell is built to our specification and tested on our property before it goes out the gate to another farmer.
If it fails in fair use,
we replace it.
We only sell what we make to our own specification and test ourselves. We back the lifetime of every item against reasonable failure, and our gates carry a seven year guarantee, one of the longest in the trade.

Used on our own high country before it is offered for sale.
Made to spec
Where a NZ Standard applies, we test against it. Gates galvanised after welding.
Backed for life
Fails in fair use, we replace it. Gates guaranteed seven years.
